BS TransComm has grown from steel trading into a end to end turnkey service provider for Power infrastructure and Telecom passive infrastructure businesses. BS TransComm has its headquarters in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and offices in states of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa and Rajasthan. The group has 8 regional offices to service all the 23 telecom circles in India and 6 project offices to service the customers of the power sector.

BS TransComm started with a tower manufacturing facility with a capacity of 36,000 MTPA in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. In 2009, the company undertook an expansion of its plant and added 84,000 MTPA in the first phase in 2010 with a total capacity of 1, 20,000 MTPA. The Plant was commissioned in 2010. In the second phase the company is expanding the plant capacity to 2,40,000 MTPA by end of 2011

Details about the manufacturing facility are as follows:

Tower Division

The division includes state of the art, modern and fully automated fabrication unit and shop floor equipped with the latest FICEP CNC and hydraulic machines, shearing machines, EOT cranes for material handling.  

Galvanizing Division

The division is fully equipped with all the necessary process tanks required for surface treatment of steel, oil fired furnace for Zinc melting, and post galvanizing treatment.

Certifications

BS TransComm tower manufacturing facility is EMS 14001:2004, ISO 9001: 2008 certified and OHSAS ISO 18001: 2007 is under evaluation. The group has a state-of-art Testing station.

Backward Integrated Structural Mill

In the year 2009, the company also integrated its tower manufacturing unit with a backward integrated structural mill with a capacity of 90,000 MTPA. The backward integration provides raw material cost benefits as well and is approved by the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
